A charity event for Hospice of the Foothills
The 13th Annual Christmas Tree Festival holds its Gala & Tree Action at the Club at Keowee Key. This year’s black tie event was being held on Friday, December 2nd beginning at 6:00 pm. The event benefits GHS Hospice of the Foothills.
This year featured over 50 total auction items including 6 large trees, 6 small trees, 8 centerpieces, 7 wreaths with matching garlands, 8 single wreaths, 8 table decorations, 2 wall mounts and 7 excursions.
These were auctioned off during a splendid dinner prepared by Executive Chef Shane White.
The Gala held at the Club at Keowee Key was part of a three-day festival from November 28th – December 2nd, to include receptions, luncheons, a fashion show, a choral presentation, arts and crafts sale, cookie walk, bazaar, and Santa’s surprises. Events are coordinated with St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Premier Corporate Sponsors for the Festival were Oconee Federal Charitable Foundation, Itron, and the Journal.
