Wild and Scenic Chattooga River

The variety of water — from lakes and gentle streams to level-five white water — is an open invitation to whatever outdoor adventure you choose.  Kayaking, rafting, fishing and boating are all available. More than 50 waterfalls beckon the casual stroller as well as experienced hikers.

 

Keowee Key is located in Oconee County, SC.  Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north, the county is bordered on the other three sides by water:  Chattooga River on the west, Lake Hartwell on the south and Lakes Keowee and Jocassee on the east.  The possibilities are endless.
