Organized (SPOND) Group Play

SPOND is a free mobile application (available for both Apple and Android devices) that is used to organize play. Groups of players can be created in SPOND and used to invite others to play in an event on a specific day/time with designated courts (that must be separately reserved through the reservation tool) and a defined number of players. You can create your own SPOND Group or ask to be invited to join an established SPOND Group. We have different types of SPOND groups within our pickleball community.

Level-based groups are used by the Pickleball Club for the Player Development program and our pro, Larry VanderRoest, for topic specific clinics. You can determine your skill level by completing a self-evaluation survey .

There are also player-generated SPOND groups of various types available to community members. Please reach out to the listed group contact for more information or for an invitation to join the group.

Getting Started:

Download the SPOND application from the Apple or Google Play Store
Set up your profile in SPOND
Ask to join an existing group or create a new group by following the on-screen instructions.
